Now Hiring – Fund Development Associate

We are currently seeking a Fund Development Associate to support the Executive Director and Development team in donor cultivation and execution of our revenue growth strategy. They will be responsible for managing our donor CRM, stewardship journey and coordinating with COO for financial reporting. They will also be responsible for facilitating the collection of content from programs to support marketing and communications. This position is ideal for an aspiring development professional looking to for an environment with high growth potential.

Responsibilities:

Database Management

  • Manage, update and maintain Play Rugby donor database/CRM
  • Implement and oversee donor segments/profiles
  • Review and analyze existing donor pool based on pre-determined qualifications
  • Build tasks/reminders into system based on donor journey
  • Manage process for donor assessment
  • Create donor / campaign reports
  • Financial Data Coordination

Donor Cultivation and Acquisition support

  • Manage existing pool of Annual Fund Donors
  • Manage process for Qualifying Prospects
  • Support ongoing stewardship communications and acknowledgements
  • Work with Associate Board on acquisition and cultivation of Mid-Level and Monthly Donors

Event Support and Activation

  • Support on donor activation events and follow up
  • Ensure donors enter stewardship pathway
  • Oversee post event acknowledgements

Marketing and Communications

  • Manage campaigns to support ongoing donor cultivation
  • Facilitate and oversee content creation and collection Manage Play Rugby’s social media accounts
  • Ensure campaign messaging and imagery is represented

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing databases
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Passion for the benefits of participation in sports for young people living in at-risk communities
  • Ability and willingness to work in and travel throughout New York City to visit programs
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, for fundraising events
