We are Hiring: Youth Development Mentors

Enjoy working with Youth? Looking for a hands-on and meaningful role? Interested in mentoring the next generation of student athletes while having fun?  

At Play Rugby USA, we use the unique power of rugby to empower and inspire youth from underserved communities, helping them to go forward and realize their true potential and we are currently hiring Youth Development Mentors in New York City.  

Our YDMs are the backbone of our programs; delivering our curriculum on a weekly basis at schools, parks, and community centers across NYC. Each of our YDMs is dedicated to helping our students develop positive character traits and the skills for a successful future.   

We currently have paid opportunities available to work with our Academy teams (flag or tackle depending on age for boys and girls) and After School Enrichment programs (flag for boys and girls)

Academy: Our schedules vary seasonally, with practices held 1-2 days per week between 4pm and 7pm, with games and tournaments held on Saturdays or Sundays. You would be required to commit to both practice and games / tournaments while in season. 

After School Enrichment: Depending on the school, our programs run Monday – Friday with flexible hours between 2pm and 6pm.
